Model #84BSapele is the same wood that we use in the interior of our humidors. No, we do not use Spanish Cedar in our interiors (see Quality Control to learn why). However we use this spectacular veneer (only available in veneer) called Pommele Sapele. Pommele is again a French word meaning marbled or highly figured. This wood is very similar to Vavona Burl but in addition it sometimes has a very tight worm-screw hole grain patterns. It is a ropelike spiral grain pattern that is unlike any other! Words or descriptions cannot accurately describe it. Another truly amazing gift from the tree spirits could only make this incredible wood.
