March 31, 2017 If you are reading this you are probably considering buying a Michael Dixon Humidor.  If so we would like to tell you about humidor humidifiers and moisturizers, specifically the Humigar.  The Humigar moisturizing system is exclusive to Michael Dixon Humidors and provides the ideal amount of humidification for our premium cigar humidors. So Many Beautiful Woods to Choose From We are often asked by our customers, especially the ones who are having a hard time choosing a wood for their future custom humidor purchase, “What are the most popular woods that you sell?” Well, truthfully, the answer is that there are no ”most popular” woods because they are all popular and beautiful in their own special way. We don’t sell more of one type of wood than another. For instance each wood grain is distinctive whether it be pommele, curly, mottled, beeswing, lightning bolt, or quilted. August 19, 2016 A desktop custom humidor is one that is made for a customer who specified his or her choices of woods, finishes and other options.   Our custom, handcrafted humidors however, stay within the parameters of the Michael Dixon Humidor line.  Each model in our line is a particular size and that size won’t vary.  Other choices include types of wood, trims, marquetry inlays from those we stock, and finishes.  We can include branding a logo, adding a decorative picture or logo such as the Superman  S logo shown in the photo.
