So Many Beautiful Woods to Choose From
We are often asked by our customers, especially the ones who are having a hard time choosing a wood for their future custom humidor purchase, “What are the most popular woods that you sell?”
Well, truthfully, the answer is that there are no ”most popular” woods because they are all popular and beautiful in their own special way. We don’t sell more of one type of wood than another. For instance each wood grain is distinctive whether it be pommele, curly, mottled, beeswing, lightning bolt, or quilted. There are also a variety of color combinations; Brazilian Rosewood – brick red to orange with black streaks, Indian Rosewood – dark purple and black streaks, Macassar Ebony – black with cream streaks, Curly Koa – light tan with brown to yellow streaks, and on and on it goes.
So our potential customers have many choices and that is our intention – to offer the most wood choices of any American made humidor on the market. We have customers who spend weeks trying to decide. Many end up buying more than one humidor. Some don’t even smoke cigars but want a showpiece for a desk or table. Are our humidors a work of art? Absolutely, and we take great pains to make each and every humidor reflect that pride of workmanship. We are equally proud to be able to say that our humidors are “Made in America“.
I am a craftsman pursuing a dream and a passion that I acquired during this brief lifetime. Making custom, handcrafted cigar humidors is a labor of love. So sit back and enjoy the show while you gaze upon a collection of the most beautiful woods in the world all made right here in Maryland.
