Model #76CAlso known as Silky Oak, it grows in the northern state of Queensland, Australia and in Brazil. It has a light pinkish tan color containing small flakes of grains and is similar to a snakeskin in appearance and texture. It is a soft to medium dense hardwood; very easy to machine and sand. However due to limited supply it has become very expensive and most importers do not stock it. In all of our exotic hardwood humidors we stain Lacewood to a saddle tan color to enhance its beauty.
