Analog Hygrometer Model #58D-EX-QueenClaro Walnut Burl appears on very few Walnut trees that grow in the coastal area of southern Oregon and northern California. Like other burls, it is an anomolous growth that appears on the sides of trees and is never more thatn 2 to 3 feet in size. It is mainly cut into veneer. These burls consist of small eyes that grow in clusters which make for a spectacular pattern. The Claro Walnut from the west coast is highly patterned with distinct brown to cream hues. These patterns make for a uniquely decorative humidor.
